A study regarding the "Provision of Selected Services for Clients with Intellectual Disabilities" was released earlier today. The recommendations, if implemented, have the potential to fundamentally shift service delivery to individuals with intellectual and developmental services in Connecticut, making the system of care more sustainable and inclusive over time. The Arc CT Announces Additional Free Planning Workshops for Parents: "After the Cap & Gown"
The Arc CT, with the generous support of the Star Foundation, has been presenting a series of free workshops entitled "After the Cap & Gown: How to Plan for your Child with Developmental Disabilities."
This workshop series was designed for parents of children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities between 15 and 21 years old. The feedback has been tremendous. Please share this information widely.
